The challenge in property maintenance is universal: communication is fragmented, processes are reactive, and critical information gets lost in emails and spreadsheets.
Our initial exploration led us to design a traditional SaaS application. The prototype used a structured interface where a user would upload an image, answer a series of diagnostic questions, and receive a detailed report with AI-generated insights on cost, urgency, and technician assignment.
However, through user research and internal testing, we identified a core friction point. Forcing a busy property manager into a rigid, form-based workflow felt cumbersome. We realized that simply automating the old process on a screen wasn't the real innovation.
